E-TIN service centre from May 7

DHAKA: National Board of Revenue (NBR) is going to provide Electronic Tax Identification Number (E-TIN) and related services on online at BCS Tax Academy in the capital from May 7.
The centre will be kept open from 10:00am to 5:00pm everyday till June 30 except on government holidays.
Various services including e-TIN registration for new tax payers, re-registration for old tax payers, registration for Bangladeshi expatriates, user ID’s against registration numbers and rectification of e-TIN registrations will be provided to the tax payers.
NBR sources said that the board has taken the initiative to increase the number of tax payers before the budget of 2014-15 fiscal year.
