DHAKA: Police detained two men with some 53,000 fake national identity cards in the capital on Friday night.

Kadamtali Thana police conducted the drive.

Details of the drive will be disclosed at a press conference at Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s (DMP) Media Centre on Minto Road in the city.

DMP assistant police commissioner (media) Abu Yusuf confirmed the matter to banglanews.
